The primary objective of the session was to enlighten participants about the distinctions between plagiarism and copyright infringement. Participants gained insights into effective summarization and paraphrasing techniques to prevent plagiarism. The session also introduced QuillBot and ChatGPT, online tools facilitating these practices. An overview of the Turnitin application subscribed by the college, including its functionality, was also covered during the session.
