The AIKTC Central Library celebrated the “Month of Books and Languages” from February 5th to 29th, featuring a series of engaging activities. In observance of International Book Giving Day on February 14th, the library organized a thematic book display running throughout the month. From February 20th to 23rd, students and faculty were encouraged to “Give a Book to a Reader” by taking home previous years’ magazines and CDs. The initiative also included the donation of books and stationery items to orphanages, with contributions accepted from February 5th to 29th. The eQuiz on Literature, initially planned for February 20th to 23rd, was unfortunately cancelled due to exams and student breaks.

The month-long celebration also highlighted International Mother Language Day on February 21st and Marathi Bhasha Diwas on February 27th, featuring thematic displays of regional language books and competitions in newspaper reading and handwriting. Winners received certificates of appreciation, adding a competitive edge to the enriching activities.
